Anyway Fan Expo was fun, and pretty much what I had expected. I had a blast with my friends, and was happy to meet and exchange a couple of words (literally lol, most of us couldn't leave the table often) lots of talented artists there. I'm not sure if I'll be returning next year, it'll have to depend on whether I have enough money saved up for the price of the table. The table price keeps rising. >_<
On another note, I'm very excited that school is starting in a week!

I noticed your table at the Toronto fan expo last weekend.
Your fan art is looking good. It has a very traditional medium feel to it (I couldn't tell it was digital). Keep up the good work and I hope you keep going to the conventions to get exposure.

I just read your blog about Artist Alley. I agree with your perspective. I think it's really an opportunity to learn and meet new artists. I've done it a couple times and $$ was never my goal. Actually, I was selling prints at cost value with no profit at all... I just wanted to get the word out about my art and to meet new people.

Thanks for writing that blog; it might help me decide whether or not I'd want to set up for next year or the future. I'm still not sure though but I guess the urge to make money isn't exactly a problem for me if I decide to do it; art is just a hobby for me.
I think part of the reason why you might not have been as successful this year with FanExpo is the lack of anime in general. I'm sure you'll have more luck with Anime North.
I'm not particularly sure I'd be excited about starting school, and it's not because I hate math (in fact, I love it) but because I'll have less time to draw.
